This day-book or blog is a part of an effort to facilitate the free exchange of information to inform and educate the public about the fascinating worlds of rare fruit and unusual plants. If you want to help out here in any way feel free to contact us. (Code, writing, proofing images, promotion).
Over the decades we have developed several sites and methods for this ranging from print to video to digital. Most is offered at no cost to the general public, be they professional, student or hobbyist. (In general most visitors are ‘rarefruiters’ and or ‘backyarders’. If you don’t recognize the terms that is OK – over time they will become self evident).
We may update the information here from time to time but mostly it will remain constant. Feel free to check back
At this point in time we work with several sites in our educational efforts:
Main Quisqualis site (and a link that explains ‘Quisqualis’ too): http://www.quisqualis.com
This site: http://www.quisqualis.org
Plant Propagation Site – NOT limited to edibles: http://www.PropagatingPlants.org/ (Incomplete, under development – want to donate an article or image? We make our sites for our visitors and input is welcomed!)
We think that the art & science of grafting deserved a separate site: http://www.HowToGraft.com/ (Incomplete, under development – want to donate an article or image? We make our sites for our visitors and input is welcomed!)
We are on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/186372351466944/
We have or recommend several groups on the Yahoo platform, look here: http://www.HowToGraft.com/ListGroups.html
That is it for now. We hope to see you here as we grow this new venture,
